Business event in Ljubljana
A business event held at the ICPE Center in Ljubljana in November 2018 showcased the business opportunities available in the Republic of Zambia, with a focus on encouraging Slovenian companies to participate in the country’s ongoing development projects.
The event was officially opened by the President of the Slovenian Business Club Zambia, Mr. Damjan Zonta, who introduced the work of the Slovenian Business Club in Zambia and the support it provides to Slovenian businesses looking to enter the Zambian market. He emphasized that Zambia is undergoing significant economic development, creating excellent opportunities for Slovenian companies to expand their international presence.
Alongside representatives of Slovenian companies, the event also welcomed several international delegates interested in the Slovenian market. Attendees received valuable insights into establishing successful business cooperation between Slovenia and Zambia.
The programme continued with a presentation by the Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Germany, H.E. Antony Mukwita. The Ambassador highlighted Zambia’s key investment opportunities and outlined major development projects across the country. He also discussed the sectors expected to experience the strongest growth in the coming years. During his address, H.E. Antony Mukwita expressed his admiration for Slovenia’s successful economy and emphasized the strong potential for increased cooperation between Slovenian and Zambian businesses.
Mr. Jacob Lushing also addressed participants, providing a more detailed overview of projects of particular interest to Slovenian companies and investors.
Following the official programme, guests continued discussions during an informal networking session, where participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore potential business partnerships.
