The business event, which took place at the ICPE Center in November 2018 in Ljubljana, was intended to present the business opportunities offered by the Republic of Zambia for the involvement of Slovenian companies in development projects.

The event was officially opened by the President of the Slovenian Business Club Zambia, Mr. Damjan Zonta. Mr Zonta presented the operation of the Slovenian Business Club in Zambia. He presented the Slovenian business club role in Zambia and what it features for Slovenian businesses. He emphasized that the Republic of Zambia is in the stage of great development and that it is excellent business opportunity for Slovenian companies.

In addition to domestic representatives of companies, several foreign representatives attended the event, which were interested in the Slovenian market. The event also presented information on how to successfully cooperate with Slovenia too.

The program was continued by the Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia in Berlin, Mr H.E. Antony Mukwita. The focus was on the presentation of business opportunities and the presentation of development projects in the Republic of Zambia. Mr. Mr ambassador also indicates in which area the economy will develop most in the future. Mr. H.E. Antony Mukwita did not hide enthusiasm over Slovenia and its successful economy, and at the same time highlighted many opportunities for joint cooperation for Slovenian companies.

Mr. Jacob Lushing also took part in the official work, he presented in more detail the projects interesting for the Slovenian economy. After the official part of the event was completed, there was an informal gathering with open discussion.
